Sanctuary - YA Dark Urban Fantasy Novel

***** Young-Adult Urban Fantasy Shifter Story with Good Characters and Worldbuilding “An excellent Young Adult (YA) Urban Fantasy shifter story, with layers of worldbuilding and unique characters leading to a unique story even with the comfortable tropes of YAUF like two love interests for the main female character (MC), who are also loyal to each other as well as interested in the same girl. Amazing characters, a cool backstory about the shifter war, and the comfortable tropes and tropes turned on end, make Sanctuary a must-read if you love YA Urban Fantasy of the shifter variety.” – Erin Penn, Amazon Review

Now, on With the Hunt!

We got lucky and you receive TWO KEYWORDS here. [Read more…]

Introducing Melle Amade, Co-Author of I Am Human

Introducing Melle Amade, Co-Author of I Am Human

Inspired by Star Trek, Star Wars, and Blade Runner, Melle Amade went to Chapman University to obtain her MFA in Film Writing and Directing, which is exactly how she met her co-author for I Am Human, Michael Trozzo. A fellow science fiction and film geek, Mike and Melle went every year to the scifi and fantasy blockbuster release of the December holiday season. Together they watched the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy, Avatar and most recently Star Wars: Rebel One, where they decided to write I Am Human.

With a career as a technology Marketing Director, Melle squeezed in world building and outlining conference calls, usually on the one hour commute home. Then carefully and systematically they pulled together a time travel story that spans the world between A Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Universe and Terminator. As a warm up, they penned a short story, The Past Code, the serves as a prequel to I Am Human. You can download The Past Code for free here. [Read more…]

Myths and Magic: The Science Fiction and Fantasy Box Set of the Summer!

Writing Science Fiction with my BFF!

Michael Trozzo is an amazing writer/director who I met in film school when I was doing my MFA. He’s got mad chops and a wonderful tone. Seriously… you’re going to love this book.

Here’s how it happened: last December we’re fulfilling our annual tradition of watching the holiday scifi blockbuster, which falls on his birthday. In this case… Rebel One. I leaned over and said, “We gotta write a Space Opera!”

And Michael said, “Yeah!”

Those words might read a little ‘eh’ on your computer, but imagine them shouted in a darkened theatre while two Star Destroyers of the Imperial Fleet crash into each other.

Well, this is how “I Am Human” was born.

Turns out it’s not quite space opera. It’s more like “Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” meets “Terminator.” [Read more…]
