REMNANTS, Shifter Chronicles Book 2 Cover Reveal and Release Date!

REMNANTS, Shifter Chronicles Book 2 Cover Reveal and Release Date!

These last five weeks I have developed, delivered and started a ton of new writing projects. They include book 1 of a new series that will release in June. It’s in the same shifter world as the Shifter Chronicles, but SET IN ITALY (yes!) with all new characters and problems. I’m also writing a few novellas so I can give everyone stories a little faster than the months it takes me to write 75,000 words. I’m a bit slow like that. There are a couple of secret projects I can’t reveal yet, but 2017 is shaping up to be a VERY EXCITING year!

The most important project I’ve been working on these last couple of months is developing, writing and editing REMNANTS, the sequel to Sanctuary. I’m excited to say it will release March 21st.

And… here is the beautiful cover, delivered by Derek Murphy of CreativIndie. I’m so in love with it. I feel like it speaks to the Shae’s story as she really learns to take off as a shifter.

In case you’re wondering, though, that is NOT Shae on the cover. That is a whole new character you haven’t met who shows up in Topanga to disrupt Shae and her friends.

Remnants is already up for pre-order and will be on sale for 99c through the release.

The Ending, Shifter Chronicles Prelude – Ever In The After Lift For Anthology Fundraiser

The Ending, Shifter Chronicles Prelude – Ever In The After Lift For Anthology Fundraiser

Last Friday I completed The Ending and submitted it to the publisher! It’s the first short story attached to the bestselling Shifter Chronicles series and is a prelude to Sanctuary.

Last year, around the time I published Sanctuary, I was approached to be part of a charity anthology. When I heard that it was for Lift 4 Autism, Authors in Action for Autism, I jumped at the chance. My 20-year-old nephew, Nic, has autism and though he’s high-functioning, there are so many challenges faced by my sister. Nic is amazing. His favorite things are My Little Pony and PAW Patrol, which means he gets along great with my 5-year-old daughter. He’s fantastic at playing with children, well most kids. He and my six-year-old son don’t always get along. I think they might have a little too much in common, like wanting everything their way. lol

Having an autistic member of our family means our family gatherings have to be sensitive to loud noises, surprising people, and even sleeping arrangements. We often moderate environment to make things a little easier for Nic. He is such a blessing to our family and such a sweet young man. Even though he will always remain a child in many ways and will always live with my sister, he is such an important member of our family teaching us to be considerate of others and warming our hearts with his warm smile.

2017 Writing and Publishing Goals

My Awesomest Author Year Yet!

I love January. After November, my birthday month, it’s my favorite month of the year. The excitement and slow days of December – the quiet time with family – are gone and we get one long month to set ourselves up for success in the new year. In my case, this means: prepare and deliver on my publishing goals. [Read more…]
